Chairman of Dambimangari Aboriginal Corporation, Francis Woolagoodja, has stepped down from the Board and retired as a director of the organisation. He will continue serve as a member of the Joint Marine Parks Management Board and the Chairman of the Wanjina-Wunggurr Prescribed Body Corporate.
Mr Woolagoodja was chairman of Dambimangari Aboriginal Corporation for two years but decided not to recontest the position at this year’s Annual General meeting in Derby on October 6.

- Adrian Lane

- Rowena Mouda
- Bronwyn Liddel
- Kenneth Gibson, and
- Edna Mungulu
Re-elected as directors of the Board at the AGM. The directors are expected to meet again in October to select a chairman and vice-chairman for the next two years.
The Board will continue to implement the findings of a comprehensive strategic review which made a number of recommendations, including potential improvements to the governance of the corporation.
As part of the AGM proceedings, CEO Peter McCumstie, outlined the plans to support Dambimangari’s economic and environmental well-being over the next 12 months.
