Dambimangari Aboriginal Corporation has promoted the group’s business development credentials to the Federal Government during a visit to the Kimberley Region by Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull this month
Chairman Francis Woolagoodja was a guest at a cocktail party in Broome on August 4.
He said the Prime Minister reacted favourably to the Dambimangari strategy for economic development based on tourism, local enterprise and sound environmental management. The group has an extensive training and management program, involving Dambimangari Rangers, aimed at preserving the area’s unique cultural and heritage attractions.
